ISCO Named #2 Most Innovative Company in Chicago on Crain’s 2026 List

October 29

CHICAGO — October 29, 2026 — ISCO International, a leader in wireless interference cancellation technology, has been awarded the #2 spot on the Crain’s Chicago Business prestigious 2026 list of Chicago’s Most Innovative Companies. This recognition marks the seventh year that ISCO has ranked in the top ten among industry leaders across the region, ranking #1 in 2025.

Crain’s annual list highlights Chicago companies that have demonstrated outstanding innovation and technological advancements, as evidenced by the number and quality of patents they have received. To date, ISCO International has been awarded 202 patents with 31 patents pending.

Since its founding in 1989, ISCO has continued to incorporate cutting-edge advancements to protect and improve the performance of wireless communications. As wireless network interference and malicious jamming by bad actors become increasingly critical threats, ISCO’s solutions protect both public and private network operators from severe connectivity disruptions.

Rather than simply attempting to bypass signal disruption, ISCO focuses on active spectrum management. ISCO’s software engineered to actively cancel interference is designed to be seamlessly embedded directly into third-party network equipment — including Open RAN Radio Units (RUs) and CU/DU components — to deliver ubiquitous protection across modern network architectures.

“ISCO technology builds resiliency directly into the core of the RAN infrastructure by natively identifying and cancelling jammers and other sources of interference in real time, ensuring optimum performance, accessibility to the network and quality of service,” said Gordon Reichard Jr., CEO of ISCO.

To further advance signal resiliency across mission-critical networks, ISCO continues to drive industry collaboration through strategic initiatives and active membership in key organizations, such as the AI-RAN Alliance, National Spectrum Consortium and OCUDU Ecosystem Foundation.
