Supporting IoT, Sensor, Security and other Applications on ISCO’s MEC x86 Server

September 8

ISCO’s ProteusCPRI is a standard x86 server that establishes an open compute, routing and storage platform in point-of-presence (PoP) cell sites across the U.S., running software Virtual Network Functions that monitor, analyze and remotely feed back information to the Mobile Network Operator. The ProteusCPRI server additionally presents the opportunity to run other applications in parallel to ISCO conditioning applications. Environmental sensors, IoT, security, and video compression are all potential applications that could be delivered via ISCO’s ProteusCPRI multi-access edge computing x86 server.

We are looking to complement our RF expertise, established customer relationships, and deployment capabilities with partners who are experts in their application verticals to bring to market new applications to MNOs.
